Reports are indicating that as of Tuesday evening earlier this week, liberals are now taking issue with the notion of a nearly 80-year-old man in the White House, sources have confirmed.
“It’s ridiculous, I mean come on, we’re talking about the most important job in the country and having an elderly man at the helm,” said local Democrat Aidan Miller, who proudly voted for Joe Biden and defended his shortcomings as merely a stutter whenever possible. “I know I didn’t use to feel this way, but I decided this morning that there’s just no way a guy that age is fit to serve as President. It’s just common sense, right?”
Despite the warnings of many outspoken liberals, Trump supporters insisted that he was mentally fit to serve another term despite being 78 years old.
“I get that he’s not the youngest guy in the world,” said local Trump voter Ed Rooker. “But age is just a number. He’s still sharp and can hang in an interview and deliver a speech. I’m not concerned about his age. I will be concerned if he slowly turns into a zombie and has such a bad debate performance that the entire party has no choice but to yank him out of the race. Until that day though, who cares?”
As of press time, liberals have also decided that J.D. Vance is way too young to be vice president when you think about it.
