In a twist spicier than a Trump tweetstorm, Rep. Josh Gottheimer has dubbed NYC mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani a “job-killing socialist” who’d fit better in a Soviet reenactment than the Democratic Party, sources have confirmed.
Mamdani, a proud democratic socialist, won the NYC primary, igniting a blue-on-blue brawl that’s got Republicans giggling like schoolkids.
Gottheimer, waving the capitalist banner, trashed Mamdani’s tax-the-rich, defund-the-cops plans, warning they’ll sink NYC faster than a Wall Street nosedive.
Mamdani’s base—Brooklyn hipsters and wannabe revolutionaries—hails him as Bernie’s heir, while detractors call him AOC’s radical sidekick.
Democrats are fracturing, with half guarding their wallets and half waving red flags.
The GOP’s already designing “Mamdani = Communism” yard signs.
