President Donald Trump signed an executive order slashing prescription drug prices in the U.S., inadvertently forcing dozens of Mexican pharmacies to shutter as Americans stop crossing the border for cheaper meds, sources have confirmed.
The order, hailed as a “MAGA miracle,” caps prices at 50% below 2020 levels, undercutting Mexico’s once-thriving border drug trade, per industry reports.
“Why go to Tijuana when I’ve got the best deals?” Trump boasted on Truth Social, claiming victory over “Big Pharma and sleepy Joe’s failures.”
Conservatives on X celebrated, with one user joking, “Mexico’s pharmacies are the new wall!”
Mexican pharmacists, reeling from a 70% sales drop, blame Trump’s “gringo economics,” while liberals cry foul, accusing him of killing jobs south of the border.
U.S. seniors, however, are thrilled, with AARP reporting a 40% uptick in affordable meds.
The move aligns with Trump’s promise to fix healthcare, but Dems call it a “publicity stunt.”
As of press time, Trump was pitching a “Pharma Freedom” tour, handing out discounted pills at Mar-a-Lago.

The executive order says That Americans will no longer be the country whose people pay 10 times more than the rest of the world That from now on Americans will pay what the lowest price country pays.
