A heartbreaking loss for Travis Kelce just got worse, after superstar girlfriend Taylor Swift allegedly dumped him after the team’s loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, the team’s first of the year.
“I can’t believe she dumped me,” said Kelce, after catching just two balls for eight yards Sunday afternoon. “She always said she didn’t care that I was on the best team and that she’d be with me no matter how we performed. Well, I think we saw how truthful that was today. Geez, man. Is she gonna write a bunch of songs about me now?”
Swift’s legion of dedicated fans, known as Swifties, supported the change in the boyfriend position.
“Kelce had a good run last season, but we’re ready to make a move and date a champion again,” said longtime Swiftie Kala Johnson. “Taylor got a taste of dating athletes, and now she won’t settle for anything less than the best. Much like the Chiefs season, we all knew their relationship was a lot rockier than it looked for a while. The honeymoon’s over.”
As of press time, Swift had denied rumors she was dating Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff, insisting they were “just friends” after being spotted in public together.
This doesn’t surprise me at all. Be thankful Travis. You’ll in time realize it is for the better. Just look at the number of relationships she has had.
