Rosie O’Donnell, the outspoken liberal comedian, stunned conservatives today by praising President Trump for slashing the price of her weight loss drug Mounjaro, which she’s been getting free in Ireland since 2023, sources have confirmed.
Trump’s executive order, signed May 20, 2025, dropped Mounjaro’s U.S. cost by 60%, making it $400 monthly, down from $1,000, per HHS data.
O’Donnell, who fled to Ireland after Trump’s 2024 win, gushed, “I’ve gotta hand it to him—Trump made Mounjaro affordable!”
Conservatives on Truth Social erupted, with one user quipping, “Rosie’s eating her words faster than she shed pounds!”
Trump, at a Mar-a-Lago rally, smirked, “Even Rosie loves me now—tremendous!”
The right hailed the price cut as a MAGA win, while liberals grumbled, noting O’Donnell’s free meds abroad make her praise hollow.
Mounjaro’s maker, Eli Lilly, confirmed the price drop aligns with Trump’s drug cost reforms.
As of press time, Rosie was reportedly pitching a “Mounjaro and Me” weight loss reality show from Dublin.
