After going public with her most recent significantly younger boyfriend, pop legend Cher has revealed the reason she insists on dating men from that age group; they’re largely unfamiliar with her musical body of work.
“I just tell them I was in movies and shit,” said Cher, in regards to her new relationship with a 32-year-old social media influencer. “One time a guy I was seeing saw a video of mine on Beavis & Butthead, but I just lied to him and said it was Demi Moore. That was a close one!”
Those in Cher’s inner circle confirmed that the biggest obstacle to her finding long-term happiness in a relationship is the availability of her musical catalog in today’s digital age.
“She was having a good run there in the ‘90s when all of her music was stuck on the most boring radio channels,” said Henry Duncan, Cher’s personal assistant. “But now with YouTube and Spotify and all of that, it usually doesn’t take long for the guys she’s seeing to realize all of the horrors she’s inflicted on the world. It’s been real rough for her lately.”
As of press time, Cher’s boyfriend had broken up with her after looking up the song from that movie Groundhog Day.
