Imagine Dragons announced a concert series in the Gaza Strip, kicking off in Khan Yunis, titled “Imagine A Palestinian State,” set for July 2025, sources have confirmed.
The rock group, known for hits like “Radioactive,” aims to “promote peace through music,” with frontman Dan Reynolds calling it “a step toward unity.”
The series, backed by UNRWA, will feature songs reimagined with Arabic lyrics, sparking conservative outrage on X, where one user fumed, “They’re serenading terrorists while Israel fights!”
Trump, on Truth Social, slammed the band, saying, “Imagine Dragons should imagine supporting America instead!”
The right views the concerts as “woke pandering,” citing Hamas’s control of Gaza and recent IDF clashes in Khan Yunis, while liberals praised the “bold cultural bridge.”
Security concerns loom, with Hamas demanding a cut of ticket sales.
As of press time, Reynolds was reportedly rewriting “Thunder” as “Thunder for Palestine,” hoping to avoid rocket fire during the show.
