Democratic presidential hopeful Gavin Newsom reportedly became the first candidate in modern history to be booed out of a campaign stop before technically announcing his campaign, sources have confirmed.
The disruption began when Newsom, speaking to a room full of potential Black voters, attempted to connect by proudly describing himself as a “960 SAT guy” who “can’t read speeches, just like you” apparently unaware he was addressing an audience perfectly capable of reading ballots, budgets, and body language.
Witnesses say the room grew noticeably colder as attendees exchanged looks that clearly communicated, Did he just say that out loud?
One voter reportedly muttered:
“Oh, we’re stupid? Stupid enough to show up, maybe.”
Sources confirm several attendees were seen calmly navigating their phones and successfully reading voter registration forms without assistance.
Campaign aides later clarified the governor was demonstrating humility, not illiteracy.
“He was trying to show he’s relatable,” one strategist explained, moments before the crowd demonstrated they relate just fine to candidates who don’t insult them.
Political observers noted the irony of a man who jokes about not reading speeches while overseeing billion-dollar budgets, ambitious rail projects that travel mostly in press releases, and financial math that requires imagination.
Poll numbers reportedly dropped so sharply analysts had to invent new digits.
As of press time Newsom was reportedly practicing a new campaign message titled “I Respect Your Intelligence.”

It may thake 50 plus years to rebuild, but it might be for the best.
Did anyone else notice that Galvin started speaking slowly when talking to the audience ? I guess where the Slow Thinking People would have time to understand. It shows what he really thinks of them !
