The Obama Foundation has announced that $1 million is the same as $470 million, sources have confirmed.
Foundation officials said the accounting was performed using the same “new math” taught in schools, where numbers bend to narrative, showing your work is optional, and every calculator comes with a trigger warning.
Under this enlightened curriculum, 1 equals 470, 2 equals “close enough,” and fiscal responsibility is a group project.
Critics warn the trick could leave taxpayers on the hook for hundreds of millions, but defenders insist taxpayers are our friends, they will understand.
Another foundation spokesperson reportedly added that taxpayer dollars are “like Monopoly money — colorful, fun, and never really yours anyway.”
The foundation further explained that if anyone complains, they will simply blame President Trump and other conservatives, which historically has worked just fine.
The foundation also announced a new financial literacy program using glitter, finger paints, and improv.
As of press time, dems in Chicago were still debating whether 2 plus 2 equals 4 or if that was vintage math from the last administration.
The construction of a Presidential Library is not built by government funds. It has to be paid for by private means. After it is built, it is operated on the taxpayers dime. So guess someone needs to start doing some private donating or the monstrosity being built may never be completed.
