Chuck Schumer has proudly refused to let President Trump extend his crackdown on D.C. crime, unveiling instead a plan to “protect the city’s lawless ecosystem,” sources have confirmed.
The program, officially called Criminal Sanctuary Zone with Catch and Release Plus, will see offenders released immediately with VIP passes, complimentary lock-pick kits, monogrammed ski masks, and taxpayer-funded hotel suites with hot tubs “to soothe the stress of their latest job.”
Upon release, every criminal receives a voucher for fine dining, Uber credits to their next heist, and a loyalty punch card — after 10 arrests, you get a weekend in the Bahamas “on the taxpayer’s dime.”
Schumer reportedly told reporters, “We like D.C. the way it is. Safer streets mean no more federal grants for crime-fighting conferences in Vegas, and frankly, my blackjack table isn’t going to play itself.”
The program brochure describes D.C. as “the Monaco of Muggings” and encourages residents to “embrace the culture” by carrying extra cash for armed robberies.
Supporters say it’s “equity in opportunity theft,” while critics say it’s “proof the Senate’s been hitting the open bar since 9 a.m.”
As of press time, Schumer was seen cutting the ribbon at a new 5-star hotel for repeat offenders, where welcome baskets included prepaid burner phones, commemorative ski masks, and handwritten thank-you cards from grateful pickpockets.
