Two Chinese nationals were caught playing a sneaky game of espionage with America’s Navy heroes, sources have confirmed.
Chen and Lai, puppets of China’s Ministry of State Security, thought they could waltz onto the USS Abraham Lincoln for a photo-op, snapping selfies like it was a Communist cruise.
The FBI, tipped off by the sharp-eyed Naval Criminal Investigative Service, nabbed the duo Friday—Chen in Happy Valley, Lai in Houston.
They’re accused of orchestrating a shady “dead drop” cash scheme and trying to sweet-talk our patriotic sailors into spilling secrets for Beijing’s anti-American playbook.
