In a move that’s got conservatives fuming, Walmart announced a 15% price hike on all goods manufactured and sourced in the U.S., citing “rising domestic production costs”, sources have confirmed.
The retail giant, once a champion of “Made in America,” claims the increase—impacting everything from jeans to toasters—is due to Biden-era regulations and labor costs that lingered into 2025, per a company press release.
Conservatives on X are livid, with one user blasting, “Walmart’s punishing patriots for buying American!”
Trump, on Truth Social, called it “a betrayal of hardworking Americans,” vowing to “fix this fast.”
The right blames Democrat policies for driving up costs, pointing to a 20% rise in U.S. manufacturing expenses since 2021, per BLS data.
Liberals, meanwhile, defend the hike, arguing it supports “fair wages.”
Shoppers are already feeling the pinch, with a Made-in-USA coffee maker now $30 pricier.
As of press time, Trump was reportedly planning a “Buy American, Pay Less” rally outside a Walmart in Ohio.
What do you expect. With the minimum wage going up, everything is going to go up in the US. But, the Dems want workers to make more money. What they never seem to get through their tiny brains is that making more money doesn’t make any difference if it cost more to buy goods.
