In yet another dazzling display of elite-level disregard for accountability, Rep. Ilhan Omar casually ghosted a Minnesota state legislative hearing this week that was investigating her alleged connections to the state’s massive pandemic-era fraud scandal, sources have confirmed.
The Democrat didn’t bother responding to the invitation or showing up to answer questions about her potential ties to the sprawling fraud ring that allegedly looted hundreds of millions from Minnesota taxpayers.
When the House Fraud Prevention & State Oversight Committee publicly noted that she had “ghosted” them, Omar’s team offered the political equivalent of a shrug emoji.
The move perfectly fits Omar’s long-running brand: rules and basic expectations are for peasants, not for members of Congress who apparently operate on a “do as I say, not as I do” philosophy.
While everyday Minnesotans get dragged into court for minor issues, Omar treats formal legislative inquiries like optional Zoom calls she can simply ignore.
Democrats rushed to defend her absence, claiming that expecting an elected official to answer questions about potential fraud is “McCarthyism 2.0” and “a chilling attack on democracy.”
Meanwhile, her associates in the fraud investigation continue to enjoy what appears to be ironclad protection from consequences.
As of press time, Omar was reportedly hard at work on important legislative priorities — such as drafting a bill that would make ignoring subpoenas a protected form of “resistance” — while reminding critics that merely asking about fraud is both racist and a violation of her constitutional right to ghost.
She needs her hijab pulled off her head and have some sense knocked into her empty head. Then have her sent back to Somalia Land where she will be tried by her peers. I always wondered why she always wore a hijab. Is it because she’s never washed her hair? Don’t know why a man would lay in bed with her and smell her hair.

She needs to be removed from Congress, stripped of her American citizenship, have all of her assets seized, be forced to eat a pork chop on worldwide media, and deported immediately and permanently back to Somalia.
What goes around comes around. The look on her face on reckoning day will be a dbl slap high-five for all of us as she taken away in cuffs then put onboard a cargo plane to Somalia.
It’s unbelievable to me that Ilhan Omar continues to get away with complete disregard for our laws and traitorous disrespect for our political system. One cannot ask if she has done anything positive for her constituents. She has made a good portion of the Somalian refugees in Minnesota wealthy by stealing hundred of millions of tax payer dollars intended to help U.S. Citizens in need. Her version of the ‘American Dream’ is to lie, cheat and steal one’s way to prosperity by taking advantage of poorly run, government sponsored social assistance programs. Her arrogant elitist attitude is typical for the Democrats extreme left. It is always; Do as I say – Not as I do and my favorite is – The truth is what I say it is! As Mr Biden said, Let’s not let facts get in the way of the truth. I hope she doesn’t get away with this outrageous theft and she is deported ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If the House Fraud Prevention & State Oversight Committee doesn’t have the authority to chain her ass because her failure to show up, then someone needs to report her to the grand jury for further investigation and which probably would lead to prosecution of grand theft and fraud. Kicking her out of this country is too good for her. She needs to scrub toilets with chairs on until she pays every cent back, which may be for life. I’d be happy.
