LOS ANGELES — ABC reportedly announced that Rosie O’Donnell would temporarily fill in for Jimmy Kimmel during his two-month hiatus, leaving millions of Americans wondering whether the network had accidentally scheduled the world’s longest encore, sources have confirmed.
Television historians immediately began comparing side-by-side photos of the two comedians before concluding the image had to be AI-generated.
“There has to be a glitch,” one confused viewer said.
“They’re both standing in the same pose, making the same face, telling the same joke.”
Network executives reportedly celebrated the transition, noting they wouldn’t have to rewrite a single monologue.
“It’s incredibly efficient,” one producer explained.
“Just erase ‘Jimmy,’ type ‘Rosie,’ and the rest of the script practically writes itself.”

In the first place, why would ABC agree to a deal that gives Kimmel two months off. Our military personnel just get 30 days of personal leave each year, and their job is a lot more stressful than Kimmel’s. I guess Kimmel has a very good agent.

Jimmie is one of a few hosts who will call Trump to account; we need this so much now. By replacing him with Rosie is ridiculous! I would never watch her. When the real host returns I may resume watching

I can remember when Kimmel was funny — i.e., before he went off the deep end and down the rabbit hole of Woke. His former comedic partner, Adam Corolla, has thus been proven to have been the brains of their act, as we now know it couldn’t possibly have been Kimmel. What an obtuse moron.
