Modeled after California’s Gavin Newsom’s hit program “Tax It Until It Behaves,” the proposal—now dubbed:
Sin Tax: Broadway Edition—promises higher prices, longer forms, and the comforting knowledge that the only people being regulated are the ones already following the law.
State officials reassured the public that criminals will not be impacted in any way, largely because criminals have continued their long-standing policy of not filling out paperwork, not paying taxes, and not participating in the legal retail system.
“We’ve reviewed the data,” one lawmaker said.
“Not a single criminal has ever paused mid-crime to ask about sales tax.”
Under the plan, lawful gun owners will pay more, register more, and apologize more, while repeat offenders will continue receiving what sources described as a “firmly worded suggestion to maybe reflect on their choices.”
Several judges reportedly confirmed they are prepared to issue strong verbal discouragement, followed by immediate release and a light snack.
Democrats insisted the policy is about fairness, noting it’s only right that working Americans fund the system, absorb the costs, and accept moral blame for wanting to protect what they own.

I’d like to feel sorry for Blue State residents, but they get what they voted for, and deserve to be punished for their stupidity. I do feel sorry for the conservative minorities in those states that are unable to leave for whatever reason, and have to suffer the consequences of the progressive majority stupidity.
