ST. PAUL, MN — Tim Walz proudly rolled out the next phase of his economic agenda this week, unveiling a sweeping new employment system designed to ensure that running a business in Minnesota becomes a thrilling, unpredictable financial adventure, sources confirmed.
The governor’s new paid-leave program, which critics warned could open the door to widespread fraud, has already produced what state officials describe as “remarkable participation levels.”
“Workers are finally experiencing the freedom they deserve,” said one policy advisor.
“Some employees have successfully taken paid leave every Monday, every Friday, and two Wednesdays they invented themselves.”
Under the law’s innovative structure, employers reportedly have no role in verifying leave requests, a feature the governor’s office says eliminates “problematic obstacles like accountability.”
“We removed employer oversight entirely,” one staffer explained. “Historically, employers tend to ask questions. That’s just not the vibe we’re going for.”
Several Minnesota companies have reportedly responded by installing rotating “mystery employees” whose sole job is to show up occasionally and confirm the building still exists.
Walz dismissed criticism that the program might accelerate businesses leaving the state.
“Absolutely not,” he said. “Businesses aren’t leaving Minnesota. They’re simply expanding to states where they can afford electricity.”
Meanwhile, progressive activists have praised the law as a major step forward in workplace fairness, arguing that employers have enjoyed decades of oppressive expectations like showing up to work.
As of press time, Walz was reportedly rehearsing testimony for his fraud investigation while unveiling three additional programs designed to expand fraud opportunities statewide.

Time to burn some tires for woofy
I have seen and heard many morons in my time, but walz takes the cake
That statement is unfair to morons.
Please Mr. President, let’s trade Minnesota for Alberta Canada. Just think, no new stars needed on the flag; our US map will have a northern border with a ‘saw-tooth’ or ‘dorsal fin’ look instead of a flat line. Minnesotans’ will love Canada and Alberta will love being free in America. This is a win-win.
Can this ” incompetent” moron think of anything more stupid than this to expose this state to? What a LOSER!!!
When I was a kid Life Magazine used to have a full page ad by the Minnesota power company that headlined “Life is better on the Northern Plains.” I wonder if they still feel that way.
Has the 3M corporation (Minnesota Mining & Manufacturing) dwindled to 1m (mud)?
I think Walz, Mamdani and Newsome are competing for the first ever “ I destroyed my state all by myself “ award. Created to honor the BEST use of: ALL THINGS YOU WANT ARE FREE programs and DEI was my mantra

Could you imagine this asshole being VP with dumbass Harris as president. OMG two sticks of dynamite too destroy this country. Why isn’t he in prison yet for stealing billions of taxpayers money and none of it went to Americans citizens or infrastructure. And the real corrupt Omar needs to be deported immediately and every single penny and assets she or family owns gets confiscated immediately and the all get sent home with the Clothes on their back only. The American people need to start cleaning up our own country because the democrats sure aren’t going to anything about it. Illegals to them are their voting card to cheating.
