CHICAGO — Bruce Springsteen proudly appeared at the Obama Foundation grand opening this week for free, shocking everyday Americans who recently paid thousands of dollars for tickets and briefly assumed “The Boss” believed working-class people should be able to afford hearing him complain about billionaires, sources have confirmed.
Springsteen reportedly waived his fee after learning the foundation may already have hundreds of millions in contractor obligations and deciding it would be rude to add one more unpaid invoice to the Hope and Change pile.
“This was about service,” said one Hollywood activist while stepping over a drywall contractor asking where his check went.
“Bruce stands with workers, especially when the workers are too busy chasing payment to afford concert tickets.”
Insiders say Springsteen considered charging his usual rate, but aides warned him the foundation’s payment department was currently funded by vibes, legacy, commemorative tote bags, and a framed photo of Obama looking thoughtfully at something taxpayers might eventually fund.
Critics noted the irony of a millionaire rock star singing about the common man at an elite foundation event while actual common men wondered whether they should start repossessing light fixtures.
Obama officials praised Springsteen for his generosity, calling it “historic,” “inspiring,” and “one less contractor lien.”
As of press time, Springsteen had clarified that he still speaks for the working class, provided the working class Venmos him before Ticketmaster adds fees.
Springsteen and Obama do have at least one thing in common- both of them are beneath contempt.
So embarrassing to perform at a place where the first man lover President has stiff the workers for not paying the bills.
Springsteen is a joke and I have never liked this left leaning woke since he started singing. We will have to tear down this building because it offends me. Sound familiar??

Springsteen, like Obama, is just one more left leaning hypocrite. They try to make themselves come across as just common folk, when in reality they reek of the money machine…. They are no better than the millionaires and billionaires that they complain about (like most of entertainers/Hollywood). How people can’t see past that, I’ll never understand.
It’s funny that the Democrats in Congress once they get control will probably vote approval for a taxpayer bailout of this obscene monument to their Black Messiah, but they want to leave unfinished Trump’s East Wing ballroom that will serve future Presidents forever, instead of just a monument to a single past President.
All those super rich people like Bruce Springsteen, Jane Fonda etc., need to quit complaining about the rich, which they are apart of and start doing something to help the unfortunate. They love living in their mansions, and drive their expensive cars, and then complain about the wealthy. When I see them living in ordinary homes, and driving simple cars then I will listen to what they have to say, but until then they should just keep their mouths closed and go about doing what they do, which isn’t much.
I’m waiting for Bruce and the other “entertainers” to assign a value to their presence and then claim it as a deduction on their tax return as a donation to charity!
