HOLLYWOOD—In a stunning blow to the national “free everything forever” movement, actress Charlize Theron horrified progressives this week by announcing that her children will be required to work, earn money, and possibly drive a car that does not come with heated seats, sources have confirmed.
The Oscar-winning actress reportedly sent shockwaves through Hollywood after suggesting her kids should experience “summer jobs,” a radical extremist concept once practiced by ancient Americans before Venmo, student loan forgiveness, and TikTok socialism replaced personal responsibility.
According to witnesses, several Democratic strategists fainted upon hearing that Theron would not be issuing her children luxury vehicles, lifetime allowances, or taxpayer-funded emotional support Teslas.
“This is dangerous rhetoric,” said one socialist activist clutching a $14 oat milk latte.
“If children of millionaires start earning things, regular Americans might get ideas. They might work hard, save money, build confidence, and eventually stop needing us to promise them free stuff every election cycle.”

I knew this woman had brains . When children earn things , money , and car , etc , they appreciate it all the more .

So glad to finally see a celebrity who realizes that we are doing a great injustice by flooding the world with millions of children who believe they are entitled! All of my children were working by the age of 14 (the oldest is now 47) and they will tell you it was the greatest thing I did for them. They did not have to work because they “needed” to in order to have things, as they went on school trips to Europe, had nice clothes, lived in a beautiful home and each got a USED vehicle when they turned 16, but they needed to learn responsibility, conflict resolution, respect and more importantly the value of a dollar and what is required to make it in this world! My granddaughter just turned 14 and guess what she just started working too! She got her first paycheck yesterday and she was thrilled and will now learn to make responsible choices about where she spends HER hard earned money! I believe that the most important job we as parents have is to raise kind, loving and respectful children and that includes manners! I used to tell the folks who worked for me that good manners are always in style no matter where you go in this world and we definitely need to squelch the wave of entitlement that we are showering on our young people.

Charlize is one of my favorite actress’ and some of her past comments have been worrisome. To hear her say she plans on making sure her children have a work ethic is definitely Not!! Things that are usually ignored by the privileged rich elite like accountability – cause and effect and common sense are rare qualities from anyone in Hollywood. I hope she follows through with her commitment. Consistency is the toughest part in raising children.
